Who's behind it
Masterscaper is written and maintained by the Pet Zone SD team — the same people who've run aquascaping-focused fish stores in San Diego since 2007, and who co-founded Hakkai, a custom aquascape design studio.
We're not neutral about the hobby. We sell the plants, hardscape, and equipment this site talks about, through Pet Zone SD and Aquascape Supply. But the guides here are written to be useful whether or not you ever buy anything from us.
